• Atlas of Head & Neck Pathology by William H. Saunders, M.D. Ohio State University.
  - A good site with lot of good microscopic pictures of various Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery diseases in PDF format.
• Atlas of Oral Pathology by Michael Finkelstein, DDS, MS (University of Iowa)
  - The goal of this atlas is to show multiple examples of important lesions of the oral cavity. One should never diagnose a lesion simply by visually inspecting it. The patient history and physical examination are critically important. Both Macintosh and Windows versions are available.
• Brief History of Head and Neck Pathology by Robert E Fechner M.D.
  - An excellent article about the long history of Head & Neck Pathology published in Modern Pathology Journal.
• Head and Neck Pathology Primer (University of Texas Health Science Center - San Antonio).
  - A small site with few case studies. Not sure if they are changing these case studies frequently.
• Microscopic Anatomy of the Human Temporal Bone.
  - This is an excellent virtual atlas of temporal bone histology, assembled by Barbara A. Bohne, Ph.D., and Gary W. Harding, M.S.E., in the Department of Otolaryngology, Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Missouri.
• PathWeb (University of Connecticut).
  - Pathweb, the virtual Pathology Museum. Few Otolaryngology topics are descirbed in detail, however only Groos pathology pictures are given.
• The Department of Pathology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center:
  This site has a searchable case database which includes a few very good head and neck cases.
• Web Path: The Internet Pathology Laboratory for Medical Education: by Edward C. Klatt, M.D.of the University of Utah.
  - This resource includes a number of features of interest to readers of this page. In particular, there are "mini-tutorials" on particular topics, including vasculitis and immunopathology; there are discussions of general pathologic processes (infection, inflammation, neoplasia, and so forth); and there are several nice images of thyroid and parathyroid histopathology.
